Saint Helena: Sandy Bay
Sandy Bay is located on the opposite side of the island, away from the capital of Jamestown. It’s scarcely populated and has stark natural beauty – a deep valley cutting between nearly vertical rocks, lush at the top but arid and sandy at the bottom. A very narrow and twisting road leads almost to the bottom of the valley toward the island’s only beach at Sandy Bay.
