Spain/Asturias: Oviedo – Catedral de Oviedo
Oviedo’s spectacular gothic cathedral is one of the finest in Spain. Built and improved for over 400 years between 14th and 18th century, it’s a vast building with many architectural decorations and monuments. But it’s the inside that is totally mind blowing – the amount of relics and gold and decorations of all types, sizes and sizes. Some of the relics at the cathedral are super precious biblical artifacts from the Holy Land – such as Angel’s Cross and Arca Santa. The cathedral also has a beautiful cloister from the medieval times.
