February is the prime time for birds in the Everglades NP – thousands if not millions arrive here for winter and the numbers peak in the middle of winter. High water levels in the Everglades bring good fish supply and large storks, cranes, egrets, ibises, herons, spoonbills, and others are all here to feast.
