India: Goa – Panaji Church
Our Lady of Immaculate Conception in Panaji In Goa was built in 1541 to stand as the shining beacon of Portuguese Catholicism on the Indian subcontinent. It is often known as the “crown of Panaji” as architecturally its stairs lead up in interlocking fashion to a grand white facade (white of course signifying the immaculate conception). And once again – it was a full service happening inside and they didn’t let me in to photograph
