Thailand: Ang Thong Marine NP – Cruising
The main reason (in my humble opinion) to come to Koh Samui or Koh Phangan Islands in Thailand is to go explore the spectacular Ang Thong Marine National Park. It covers a string of 42 stunning limestone islands, some large and some just small outcrops in the sea. A whole day cruise goes usually from top of the island chain to the south navigating between island-dotted landscape. Many islands have fabulous tropic beaches, limestone caves, hidden lagoons, and steep hiking trails to the top for panoramic views (next posts).
