Ivanovo Oblast: Ivanovo
Ivanovo is known as the “city of brides”, although given a really crappy weather I think they all stayed at home and indoors when I visited. So there were still a couple old churches and cathedrals to check out with more onion domes and frescoed interior – the black- domed Vvedenskiy Monastery and the blue-domed Transfiguration Cathedral. And it also snowed in the end!
