Socotra: Dihamri Marine Reserve – Fishing
It took just about an hour to catch about a dozen red snappers and groupers but taking a simple boat just a few hundred feet offshore in the Dihamri Marine Reserve. Even without fishing poles – just a line and a hook and some fish on it (or just using some of the smaller snappers or inedible triggerfish as bait). The fish was biting non stop and all you need to do is to pull the line in and then get the fighting fish into the boat. Easy! And lunch and dinner is set!
