Zimbabwe: Lake Kariba – Musango Safari Lodge
Musango Safari Lodge on Lake Kariba may not be the best safari lodge one would imagine – it’s a bit dated and in need of a facelift. But it does offer a great secluded location on an island with nature all around you – resident bushbucks, chance to see animals at night, great bird life, and plenty of hippos. There is also quite an interesting archaeological museum here with a collection of dinosaur fossils with many “one-of-a-kind artifacts for Zimbabwe – fossilized dinosaur eggs, teeth and bones, minerals, and so on and so forth.
