Costa Rica: EcoTermales Fortuna in Arenal
At the foothills of the majestic Arenal Volcano (it is also shrouded in clouds, so don’t expect to see it), lies one of the best hot springs in Costa Rica – EcoTermales Fortuna. The hot water flows through a series of thermal pools that range in temperature from 32°C to 41° C (90°F to 106° F), and there are also cold water pools and several waterfalls. All of this is surrounded with true rainforest jungle with toucans in the trees, iguanas on the ground, and we even spotted a sloth!
