Costa Rica: La Paz Waterfall
La Paz Waterfall is on the eastern side of the Poas Volcano, tumbling in a spectacular drop almost right next to the road. Short paths lead to the bottom and side views of the waterfall, and you can even walk behind it. As most people driving the road stop to look at the waterfall, fruit sellers congregate here as well, offering the fresh local produce of tropical fruits that you never even heard of.
