Iceland: Eyjafjordur
Next northern Iceland fjord – Eyjafjordur – is one of the longest and narrow west in the country, it’s 60km long and only about 5-10km wide. The mountains rise sharply from the water on both sides (with three long tunnels cutting through them). In between the tunnels, you are treated to absolutely otherworldly panoramas of nature – field of blooming lupins, calm waters of the fjord, and snow-covered hills and mountains. And tiny little houses here and there.
