Saudi Arabia: Road to Thee Ain
The road descending the high mountains down into the Thee Ain – King Fahd Road – is an absolute jewel of engineering, twisting and turning through insane switchbacks and tunnels (26 tunnels that we counted all in all) and several aqueducts. Multiple pullovers along the way offer panoramic views, but once again hamadryas baboons are waiting for handover a at every possible occasion and aggressively jump on your car.
