Iraq: Lake Razzazah
If there is one attraction you should skip when expiring Iraq – that’s Lake Razzazah. The lake lies west of Karbala and is actually the largest lake in Iraq. The water comes as excess from Euphrates. The lake is shallow, not much fish left ax and shores and water are just covers with disgusting trash. Out driver and his friends insisted we see this, but it was utter and total crap. Probably also literally. When we asked why it was so dirty, the answer was “the government doesn’t wanna do anything about it”. And as the driver said this, he through out his empty cola bottle and food leftovers in a plastic bag. And that’s how it goes…
