UAE/Dubai: Ain Dubai
Ain Dubai is the newest attraction in Dubai, opened just in October 21, 2021. This is the tallest and biggest Ferris wheel in the world, 250 m (820 ft) in both height and diameter. 48 glass and steel capsule carry up to 1750 passengers for a 40 minute ride up in the air with incredible views of Dubai Marina, Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, and Skydive Dubai. The wheel itself sits on a small Bluewaters island. For the first half of the ride you see the Dubai skyscrapers, getting increasingly smaller and smaller, and one you crest the top – it’s the Palm Jumeirah man-made islands. For my personal liking, the ride was too calm and no-thrill, unlike some of the smaller open air Ferris wheels.
