Continuing cruising the spectacular and desolate Greenland landscapes, we explored the Antarctic Sound and the Narvhal Sound, coming to the massive cliffs of the Ella Island. The colorful cliffs drop absolutely vertically here for over 2,000 feet, the tops obscured by the clouds – you feel totally dwarfed even in a large ship. Geology is also fascinating, we different layers and striations of the rocks are clearly visible and at an incline from the continental uplift.
