Armenia is the town in the southern part of the Colombian coffee triangle (not to be confused with the country n the Caucasus). Not much in terms of attractions here, besides the bizarre-looking and somewhat futuristic Cathedral Inmaculada Concepcion with its triangular facade and a spire of an outside belltower. The Bolivar Plaza is also interesting although it didn’t feel particularly safe. Armenia is also great to try truly local food and of course fantastic coffee.
