Guatemala: Antigua – Posada Los Pasos Hotel
While Antigua has a large range of accommodations – from some presenting to be five star to simple hostels – the true hidden gem is Posada Los Pasos. Located in the southern part of the town (and this closer to volcanoes towering above Antigua) and next to several old churches, Posada Los Pasos occupied an old colonial building with luxury amenities and loads of rooftop and terrace space for spectacular panoramic views of the town and well beyond. The old colonial architecture is meticulously restored throughout, there are lots of outdoor dining spots within the hotel, and you almost don’t want to leave to explore the city.
