Benin: Ganvie Lake – Birdwatching
Lake is famous for its village on stilts (next post), but getting here by boat takes you through a lot of water canals filled with birdlife – dozens of colorful kingfishers of various types, and a lot of other birds! There are over 200 species of birds, around the river and along the channels.
