Israel: Jerusalem – Eastern Ramparts Walk
The Eastern Ramparts Walk follows the path on top of the defensive walls of the Old Jerusalem built by Suleiman the Magnificent in the 16th century. Along the way, there is access to many historical sites – the Tower of David and Jaffa Gate among them – and views of the Armenian and Jewish quarters from the walls looking into the old city. The views are panoramic looking out of the city as well, onto the Mount of Olives and Temple Mount.
