Colombia: Tanimboca Reserve – Nightwalks
One of the most amazing experiences in the Amazon rainforest is exploring it at night on a night walk. Insects and animals of all sizes come alive – giant tarantulas, grasshoppers, massive toads and colorful poisonous tree frogs, tree mice and shrews, crickets the size of a palm, massive spiders. And we even saw a freshwater electric eel and a giant poisonous snake (although no pics of the latter).
