Paraguay: Tres Fronteras
Tres Fronteras or Triple Borders is a tiny settlement in Paraguay that lies at the confluence of Parana and Iguazu river just below the Iguazu Falls. Paraguay doesn’t have the spectacular natural wonder and gets almost no tourism. But it’s easy to visit Paraguay here. You can either take a taxi from the Brazilian side to bleak and unsafe shopping town or Cuidad del Este or alternatively take a small ferry from the Argentinian side of Puerto de Iguazu and have an incredible ride at the river convergence to the Paraguayan side. There you can climb up a steep hill to a monument marking the triple border point. You do have to go through all the border formalities and stamping on the way from Argentina to Paraguay and back.
