Cameroon: Bafoussam Palace
The regional capital of Bafoussam is the third largest city in Cameroon and it also has a king and a palace. By territory, this is the largest palace in this part of Cameroon, peppered with over 100 kingdoms and palaces. The Bafoussam kingdom dates back to 1380. The palace, while sprawling, fails to impress – aside from a couple grand gates and conical buildings, it’s not very decorated and a lot of it is off limits. Not really tourist friendly or welcoming.
