Nauru: Yangor
Nauru doesn’t really have an official capital, and it’s often hard to tell where a town ends or begins – the entire island is just a collection of hours long the rig road, an airstrip, and some government buildings opposite the airstrip. But the settlement of Yangor is unofficially known as the capital and stands out as the biggest – there is a large Taiwan-built center here, a couple awful food places, a post office, and the island’s main church. Two of the three hotels on the island are also here.
