Tuvalu: Fuagea Islet
The third islet we explored in the Funafuti Lagoon was the Fuagea, fairly large and with a smaller islet separated by a channel in a coral reef (tide was coming in pretty strong so not passable). More stunning reef wall on the out side, palms bending over water, crabs scattering away, more birdlife and absolutely surreal beach landscapes. The islet is uninhabited, although there is a small house for visiting fishermen.
