Martinique: Exploring Northern Martinique
riving around the northern part of the island on N1, there are a lot of interesting small towns with beautiful old Catholic churches, spectacular sea and mountain scapes. Pictures in the album are Le Marigot, Le Lorrain (with the beautiful Church of Saint-Hyacinthe from early 19th century), L’Ajoupa-Bouillon (another spectacular church here – Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in L’Ajoupa-Bouillon), and Le Morne Rouge (yet another 19th century Church of Our Lady of the Assumption in striking gothic grey).
