Australia: Darwin – Mindil Beach Sunset
The most iconic spot in Darwin is the Mindil Beach for sunset. The summertime storms and electricity in the air often ends up coloring the sky into spectacular red at sunset time. The sky often transforms into a palette of vibrant colors, ranging from warm oranges and pinks to deep purples and blues. In the colder months there is a night market here, but in the summer it’s almost empty and you have the entire beach and sunset all to yourself.
