Philippines/Cebu: Moalboal – Panagsama Beach
Panagsama Beach is the main beach in Moalboal, although it’s not sandy or swimmable – but the coral reef comes really close to shore here, plus it’s world famous for the sardine run (next post). The beach has several restaurants along the shoreline and strips of mostly budget hotels. It’s super easy here – don your snorkel gear, make a couple steps into the water and you got the reef underneath you.
