Central African Republic: Mboko Beach
About a half hour drive west from Bangui along the Obangui River there is a riverine area called Mboko with a somewhat nice beach and a place where some of the local elite comes to hang out in the weekend at the Royale Beach Club. It’s a pretty scenery of the river, some fishermen at work, landscape of the Congolese bank of the river with distant hills and overall sense of total tranquility.
