Nigeria: Awka Cultural Village
Awka Culture Village is carefully recreated traditional village of the Igbo people with traditional houses, interiors and art decorations. The Igbo people are one of the largest ethnic groups in Nigeria and Africa, they primarily inhabit the southeastern part of Nigeria. While Christianity was brought by missionaries and has permeated the region, many Igbo still focus on a supreme deity – Chukwu – and believe in spirits and ancestors.
