Madeira: Exploring the northern coast
The northern coast of Madeira is less populated, and some parts of the roads are still insane narrow cliff edge paths rather than tunnels with no views like in the south. Driving is insane as every 5-10 min you have to backup and let the other car thru on a narrow road next to a vertical drop off into the sea. But views are spectacular – houses clinging to almost impossible incline, grape vines, waterfalls cascading into the sea, natural swimming pools, and so much more.
