Krasnodar Krai: Sochi – Old town and beaches

Technically, the city of Sochi stretches for 140km along the Black Sea coast, but only a small part of the historic old city is walkable and enjoyable – beautiful promenade with historic buildings, Summer and Winter theaters, many monuments and sculptures (including Pushkin who spent a lot of time here and Lenin who never was here). Plenty of bars overlooking the beaches crowded with Russian vacationers.
