Zambia: Wasa Camp at Kasanka National Park
Kasanka Natinal Park is remote and least visited in Zambia, the wildlife is not that great here given the poaching problem because of the proximity to lawless Democratic Republic of Congo. The bats, while incredible and unique, are little known and very seasonal. So the Wasa Camp is rather primitive and rustic but still has its appeal – the huts are made to look like traditional round buildings with thatched roofs and the main building has great outside viewing area to watch the lake in front of it full of wildlife, hippos, and antelopes.
