Myanmar: U Bein Bridge at Sunset
U Bein Bridge is the world’s longest teak wood bride going for over 1.2km across the Taungthaman Lake near the ancient Burmese capital of Amarapura. The bridge was built in 1850 and utilized 1086 wooden pillars. The bridge looks and feels on the verge of collapse but that just adds to its charm. The views across the bridge at sunset have been drawing epic crowds of tourists and the bridge has been featured in pretty much all the tourism publications about Myanmar.
