Pakistan: Wagha Border Ceremony

And the final post from Pakistan but definitely the most interesting not only for this country but perhaps for the entire trip. The border between Pakistan and India is located 24km east of the city. Every day at sunset there is a massive ceremony when the gates open and soldiers on both sides dressed in colorful national uniforms wield fists at each other. On both sides, there are semicircle stadiums filled with people screaming “Pakistan” and “India” respectively. Soldiers stomp their feet, flip their legs high up, and scream at each other, as the crowd goes nuts! Definitely a spectacle worth seeing!
