Namibia: Crossing the Tropic of Capricorn

Tropic of Capricorn encircles the earth at the latitude is 23°26′13.3″ (actually it’s gradually moving northward at 15 meters per year). As you cross it on the way south toward the South Africa, you drive through empty landscape with occasional ostriches crossing the road.
