USA/NY: Waterfalls of Upstate New York

Upstate New York around Ithaca has several waterfalls that are truly spectacular albeit little know. The massive Taughannock Falls is a 215-foot (66 m) vertical drop where your dwarfed standing at the very bottom of the splashing water. The not-so-far away Watkins Glen State Park preserves a gorge with 19 waterfalls.
