Afghanistan: Road from Kabul to Ghazni

We ventured south from Kabul to Ghazni. This road is part of the Kabul–Kandahar Highway also known as Highway 1 – a key route between Kabul and Kandahar (where Taliban is from). The distance between Kabul and Ghazni is approximately 150 km. It’s a totally different landscape from the northern part of the country – flatter and more deserty. It’s quite a busy road with a lot of big trucks and sections in a fairly bad condition.
