Albania: Prokletje Mountains
Prokletje Mountain ranges straddles Montenegro and Albania borders, and a brand new mountain road in Albania offers a spectacular adrenaline-packed ride with awesome viewpoints and overlooks galore. This is a remote and rugged area with few settlements and four national parks – 2 in Albania and 1 each in Montenegro and Kosovo (that is an idea to combined them into a transfrontier Balkans Peace Park. The mountains are often referred to as Accursed Mountain (a direct translation from Slavic “Prokletje”).
