Aldabra: Aldabra Atoll – Panoramic Views & Landing

Aldabra Atoll is located about 1,100 km (684 mi) southwest of Mahe Island in Seychelles and actually closer to Madagascar. It spans approximately 34 km (21 mi) in length and about 14.5 km (9 mi) across, making it one of the world’s largest raised coral atolls. Its total area is about 155 sq km (60 sq mi) – the entire Mahe island would fit inside a but much of it is a vast shallow lagoon, creating a network of coral reefs, channels, and mangrove-lined islands. The atoll is actually four separate islands – Grand Terre, Malabar, Polymnie, and Picard. Aldabra Atoll is one of the ultimate travel experiences and true dream come true.
