Aldabra: Aldabra Atoll – Snorkeling

Aldabra is also supposed to have a proactive reef around the atoll. We didn’t get very lucky with our snorkel, a recent storm left too much sand suspended in the water and visibly was poor. Also coral looked quite dead in many spots, which is true for many places in equatorial Indian Ocean. Nonetheless, there were plenty of fish! We even saw a huge batfish!
