his centrally located market is inside a French-built two story Marche, but inside it’s super authentic, lovely, and welcoming. The salesmen are elevated slightly above the shoppers and it added to the atmosphere of seemingly mountains of fresh fruits and vegetables, meats (lots of lamb), top-notch dates, super ripe melons, fresh cherries, spices, and humongous eggplants and potatoes, and every single seller was welcoming and friendly, happy to offer a sample to try and pose for a picture.
