Amazonas: Amazon Sunrise
Amazon is not a place to see safari-style wildlife, it’s more about contemplating the landscape. At night, however, it’s an adventure to spot the various nocturnal animals coming out into the cool air. Most is done from the boat since it’s all about the river, but night walks in the jungle are also productive. Two species of caymans, sloths, Brazilian porcupine, nightjars, owls, giant spider, toads, boa constrictor and other snakes, and tiny possums – can all be seen at night.
