Andorra: Grandvalira

Grandvalira is the easternmost part of Andorra, bordering on Spain and France. It’s all high peaks and snow-clad mountains of the Pyrenees and it’s also home to the largest ski resort in the entire mountain range. There are at least five mountain peaks here that rise to above 2,800 m or 9,000 fr. Given the elevation and snow conditions, the skiing remains open well into April – we are definitely coming back to ski here next year!
