Angola: Kalandula Falls (on the top)
Having explored the massive Kalandula Falls from the bottom and viewpoints across the cataract, you can take a circuitous route to get to the top of the falls. This is borderline daredevil stuff that would be completely off-limits anywhere else – you are hopping wet rocks above the 105m/344ft drop with water gushing all around you and bubbling through holes in the stones – beats the hell out of the Livingstone Island in Victoria Falls. From the top of the falls, a spectacular panorama of the countryside opens to horizon, while rainbows pop up down beneath you feet.
