Angola: Kissama NP – Night Drives
There are really no night drives at Kissama, we just happen onto one since we got stuck inside the park after a heavy rain downpour. And what a drive it was! Snakes of all shapes and sizes came out crawling after the rain, and I got to see 3 different pythons, from a small fat one to a large and long one crossing the sandy road. And then there were several nocturnal birds, seemingly suicidal in front of the car – nightjars and others.
