Angola: Lubango – Casper Lodge

Casper Lodge is by far the top place to stay in Lubango – an ultra lux (by Angolan standards) hotel/resort with sprawling gardens and lush amenities. There are even semi-wild duiker antelopes roaming around the premises and lots of birds. Apparently, this is the place where Angolan VIP come to stay when visiting Lubango – the next table to us at dinner was full with multi-star military generals (in fact they had so many medals on them that they resembled Christmas trees). The restaurant (and especially the buffet), are famous in Angola for top-choice in local cuisine.
