Angola: Miradouro da Lua
Miradouro da Lua (Viewpoint of the Moon) is an absolutely stunning overlook of surreal eroded badlands along the Atlantic Ocean coastline south of Luanda. Rain and wind has shaped the soft sandstone into otherworldly formations of hoodoos, pillars, pinnacles and various gullies and cliffs. Something like an Angolan version of the famous Bryce Canyon in Utah, except here there are also colors of green trees, yellow beach sand, and blue ocean. Absolutely incredible landscape!
