Angola: Road From Coast to Lubango

The road from the Angolan coast to Lubango offers a stunning and dramatic shift in scenery as you travel inland from the Atlantic coastline and the surrounding desert to the Lubango Highlands. As you drive inland, the terrain rapidly shifts from flat, sandy plains to more rugged, rocky hills with green vegetation, and eventually mountains. You pass some remote villages and get to see some tribes along the way. You rapidly rise was switchbacks up the Lubango Plateau.
