Antarctica: More Emperor Penguins
Anther night with the incredible emperor penguins and their puffy chicks – you come out late in the evening around 10pm and stay with them as long as you can until 2-3am. It’s eternal light in Antarctica in December, but around 1-2am the sun is at the lowest point above the horizon and the shadows form behind the inquisitive penguins as they approach you.
