Argentina: Iguazu Falls – Devil’s Throat
Iguazu Falls belong to two countries – Argentina and Brazil – and to truly see the falls one need to visit both sides. On the Argentine side, there are many different areas and viewpoints and activities to see and experience the falls – and one of the main ones is the Devil’s Gorge. A train takes you to the upper cataract and then you walk over long platform walkways to the Devil’s Gorge where you stand on top of the waterfalls peering down into the caldron of falling water. Devil’s Throat is the largest of all the Iguazu falls (all 272 of them), it drops 262 vertical feet and is a combination of 14 curtain-like falls. You will definitely get wet and splashed while here!
